Thermostone Room Heaters deliver heat in three ways: • Accumulation - Heat is absorbed by the stone at four times the rate received. So, the unit provides four hours of heat for every hour of electrical consumption. • Convection- Convection heating is the natural occurrence of warm air circulating upward. Cold air in the room is heated by the heating element, then rises naturally through the Thermostone to warm the air above it. • Radiation- Once the selected temperature is reached using the unit's thermostatic control, the stone continues to radiate heat without any additional electric consumption. The unit's thermostatic control also allows Thermostone to maintain a constant room temperature. • Because the units do not contain oil, gas or other hazardous substances to actuate heating, Thermostone Room Heaters are a safe space heating alternative.
