Karp KCD Duct Door 8" x 8" The Karp KCD Duct Door is removable and furnished with double cam latches, and the frames are easily attached to duct with notched knock-over tabs. On sizes 12" x 12" and smaller, the door is 24 gauge galvanized steel. On sizes 14" x 14" and larger, the door is 22 gauge galvanized steel. On all sizes the frame is 22 gauge galvanized steel, and the hinge is aluminum, continuous piano. The door is filled with 2" thick fiberglass insulation compressed into 1". R factor = 7.7. Gasketing between door and frame is 1/2" thick by 1/8" wide closed cell neoprene gasketing. The back of the frame has 5/8" notched knock-over edges. The Karp KCD Duct Door comes with zinc plated steel cam latches that are self-tightening and hand operated. * Dimensions are H x W
