Karp KRP-250-FR Non-Insulated Fire Rated Access Door 24" x 24" The Karp KRP-250-FR Non-Insulated Fire Rated Access Door is flush mounted, with anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. Frame and trim are 16 gauge steel with corners welded and ground smooth with anchor straps. Trim is 1" wide. Door is 16 gauge steel and opens to 175°. The door is self-latching with automatic closer and interior latch release. Hinge is a continuous piano hinge. Finish is prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder, baked grey enamel. The KRP-250-FR is non-insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for 1.5 hour "B" label in walls, and may be used in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly.
